FIFA SCANDAL, Blatter Re-election, Cup Finals, Women’s World Cup
Saying FIFA isn’t Crooked – that’s kind of like saying the Olympic Committee isn’t a scam right? And how about in the midst of a scandal, arrests, and investigation the same president who has been in charge during all of this scandal being re-elected for a 5th term? Good to see the more things change the more things stay the same at FIFA and in World Soccer. It will be interesting to see what comes out of the investigation and if they can pin anything on Sepp Blatter and force him to step down at some point. Ok back to the pitch – Europe has a host of Cup games with the FA Cup Final Sat 12:30 at Wembley on Fox, the Spanish, German’s and French all have Cup Finals as well on Saturday as we build to the Champions League Final between Barcelona and Juventus Saturday, June 6 @ 2:45 on Fox. Good luck to the 3 Carmel FC girls teams in State Cup Finals competition this week and to all the teams up at the finals at Grand Park.
