Ok so soccer fans – its USA vs MEXICO Sat night, 9:30 on Fox Sports 1 for all the Marbles- I am hoping we have a 50/50 crowd though that is not what usually happens in LA.  But hopefully Sam’s Army and The Outlaws will come thru!!  Winner wins the CONCACAF CUP and advances to the Confederation’s Cup the year before the next World Cup. Win and the loss in the Gold Cup this summer and destruction at the hands of Brazil last month don’t matter. Lose and the leadership of US soccer and Jurgen Klinnsman’s role as Manager of the US team is in question as we head into World Cup Qualifications next month. To say Saturday night’s game is huge is an understatement. High School Sectionals are in full throttle with championship games this weekend.  The #1 Ranked in the US and Indiana Carmel High Ladies (14-0-2) hosting Sectionals at CHS Murray Stadium –defeated Westfield 2-0 and will take on #8 Zionsville in the finals on Saturday at 7 pm. We have a ton of former Carmel FC’ers playing so go root them on.  The #6 ranked Carmel High Boys came back to defeat Guerin Catholic 4-2 Wed night and will face the Zionsville boys on Sat afternoon at 2 pm. Again 2 former Carmel FC’ers on the CHS squad.  If anyone wants my Session Ticket – I will be reffing all day Saturday just let me know and I will try to get it to you – save yu the $7.
